Soooo I found this game in December of 2021 via Youtube recommendations, and I ended up watching the christmas special first... the fact that I watched it during my first time on a train after waking up at 3am to get on a plane across the country made it more surreal and immersive(?) despite muting the video and using autogenerated captions lol
For the next few months I was kind of obsessed with the game despite not being interested in trying to understand the story at first (or even bothered to watch the original version of the game until 2 weeks later or play it myself until it went on sale for $1.50 0-o), probably cause it was completely different from anything I'd seen before; some people say the game is cliche, but I never read creepypastas or played FNaF or anything so it seemed so unique to me, even though I didn't know what was happening, and the game isn't actually as gRoUnDbReAkiNg as it was to me at the time... admittedley I have grown to worship it less since people have been critisizing the modern indie horror genre, even if AAF isn't usually mentioned, I'm kinda self-conscious like that... but this game will always have a special place in my heart ;-;
